It has been a while since I blogged about the stuff I bought from the ukay-ukay. My latest ukay-ukay blog post was on that fabulous David & Scotti leather messenger bag and that was July last year. Yes, it was that long ago!
I haven’t been to my ukay-ukay haunts this year. It doesn’t mean that my passion for finding priceless treasures at the ukay-ukay has waned. I haven’t blogged about my most recent purchases yet so I haven’t earned the right to visit my favorite ukay stalls and spend money on a bag or two.
One of the bags I purchased last year is a very sturdy messenger bag I scored for P220. I like to call it my workbag since it’s functional, lightweight and spacious enough to hold an assortment of folders and gadgets. Also, I like the blue-and-brown colorblocking thing that gives the bag a put-together look.
The only downside is that it doesn’t have a separate compartment big enough to hold my 11 inch laptop. Oh I can place my lappy in the main compartment but without additional support, it’s too much of a risk.
All things considered, I’m very happy with this purchase because it’s affordable and even after months of use, its still in mint condition.
Below are more pics of the messenger bag.
