I had a trim at Tony and Jackey salon a few days after I had my hair relaxing treatment. A trim wasn’t really necessary but I was looking for an excuse to try the salon’s services.
Well, anyway…I liked the salon’s black-and-white interiors. The facilities are modern — I saw a couple of setting perm and digital perm machines. There’s also a very modern shampoo station complete with chairs with auto-recline mechanism so that clients are comfortable while being shampooed.
The staff is courteous and Daniel, the Korean designer/stylist who gave me the trim was really nice and even offered to curl my hair. Of course, I said yes because the extra service helped justify the P300 I paid for the haircut. And of course, I wanted to learn how to create loose curls (tight curls are not my thing) using a straightening iron.
It’s too bad I forgot to take pictures of the salon but here’s a picture of me after the trim. I know the fringe is not that obvious but just look at the soft, loose curls. Not too shabby, eh?
Tony and Jackey Salon is located at the Level 2 of SM City Davao.
