Yes, it’s finally here!

My jar of Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream arrived from the U.S.  a couple of days ago.  I requested my boyfriend’s mom to buy me the very popular Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream as it is actually a lot cheaper there.  Like a couple of hundred bucks cheaper.

I turned 33 this year (yes, I am that old!) and I have been noticing the signs of skin aging a lot more lately.  I’ve been told countless times that I don’t need to use anti-aging products since I have very oily skin and that I really look young for my age but the mirror tells me otherwise.   I see deepening fine lines, laugh lines, and blotchy skin tone.

I guess, when you are past 30, you finally realize that you have to think about investing in age-defying and anti-aging skin treatments.

The Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream has been receiving a ton of rave reviews so I decided to give it a try, and other items included in the award-winning Olay Regenerist Line.  I was looking for a reliable age-defying product that will maintain my skin’s elasticity by keeping it moisturized.

I find the Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream  more creamy than expected but it’s consistency is a lot thinner than the Ponds 7-day Miracle Cream. I love its moisturizing properties but since I started using it 3 days ago, no improvement on my overall skin texture has been observed. Well, at least, not yet.

I am optimistic about this Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream because it contains ingredients like amino-peptide complex, intracellular fortifiers, and proteins touted to restore skin’s elasticity and firm sagging-prone areas.  Well, I hope it’s well worth the hype.

If there’s one thing I don’t like about the Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream is that it’s perfumed. The scent is not that strong but still, I don’t want to smell like I  wear perfume to bed.

Aside from the Micro-sculpting Cream, I have tried the Olay Regenerist Cream Cleanser.  It’s just an average cleanser for me, no skin irritation although I believe it’s more suitable for normal to dry skin.  I really love the scent, though.

I have also set my sights on the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum and Olay Regenerist Eye-lifting Serum.  Both are for spot treatment of problem areas.  Like I said, when you are past 30, you can’t help but think about investing in age-defying and anti-aging skin care products.
